Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Labor & Delivery to join a Critical Access Hospital in Arkansas. The role covers labor and delivery, postpartum and mother‑baby care, delivering safe, compassionate nursing throughout the childbirth process in a fast‑paced setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and midwives, monitor vitals, administer treatments, educate families on postpartum and newborn care, and document care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Wisconsin)
• 2+ years in labor and delivery or maternal-child health
• BSN preferred / Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage patient comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

The nurse will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care during labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in labor and delivery or maternal-child health.
• Clinical skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital or similar rural healthcare setting.
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB).
• Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems.

Special Considerations:

• Work primarily in a labor and delivery/postpartum environment with mother and baby care.
• Ability to respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
• Must be able to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Scheduling:

• Day shift schedule.
• Shift assignments based on hospital staffing needs and patient census.
