Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Interventional Radiology is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our IR team. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, uphold patient rights, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure in Missouri, ADN/ Diploma/ BSN, and BLS certification. Expect a 5-day workweek, day shifts, with on-call rotation and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in the hiring state (Missouri) or eligible Compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; ability to reach, bend, kneel, twist and squat.

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Interventional Radiology

Full-Time: Monday - Friday

Days: 0630 - 1500 On-call(rotation) W/E and holiday

Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
