Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum ADN or higher nursing degree.
• At least 1 year of radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of radiologic/imaging procedures and contrast safety.
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging exams and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents; manage allergic reactions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation following policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $73,450 to $127,500 /year
