Incredible Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Sandy Springs, GA area. The nurse will assist radiologists, monitor IV contrast, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast, address reactions promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks of imaging tests.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per policies.

• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
