Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Long Branch, NJ. The role covers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem options.

May require experience in radiology, ICU, or other high-acuity settings, and involves radiologic procedures and contrast administration. You will collaborate with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team, provide pre- and post-procedure patient education, and ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing any allergic reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits of radiologic tests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
