Job summary
Incredible Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Sandy Springs, GA area. The nurse will assist radiologists, monitor IV contrast, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures.
The position requires ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year radiology/ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications; EMR proficiency is also essential. Competitive benefits accompany this role.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety, including contrast media.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
- Administer and monitor intravenous contrast, address reactions promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks of imaging tests.
- Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per policies.
