Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks an experienced registered nurse to lead coordination and delivery of quality patient care. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while guiding and documenting care for patients and families.

Strong communication with patients, families, and hospital staff is essential, as is collaboration with the care team to resolve variances from patient goals. ICU/ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and licensure required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by state board and BCLS certification.
• ICU and/or ER experience preferred.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• IR experience preferred.
• ICU and or ER experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
