Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a day shift, full-time Radiology Spec Procedure (IR) Registered Nurse. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff, focusing on radiology and pain management patients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a BSN from an NLN/ACNE-accredited program, 2+ years of RN experience, a valid NJ RN license, ACLS, and BLS (within 14 days of hire).

Qualifications

• BSN degree from NLN/ACNE accredited program.
• 2+ years of RN experience.
• Current New Jersey RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: 2+ years in Interventional Radiology or Endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff.
• This role works closely with patients undergoing radiology and pain management procedures, ensuring that they receive the best care possible while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and graduate of a National League for Nursing/American Association of Colleges for Nursing accredited program.
• 2+ years of prior RN experience.
• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in Interventional Radiology or Endoscopy.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
