Job summary

Incredible Health in Manteca, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology to support radiology procedures. The role requires ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and experience in radiology or high-acuity settings.

You will assist radiologists, manage contrast agents, educate patients, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Shifts include day, night, and mid; options include full-time, part-time, or per diem.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certification required.
• 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and contrast safety.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during imaging and interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast with allergy management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care around procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks and benefits.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $98,260 to $205,260 /year
