Incredible Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Rockford, IL area. The role supports radiology procedures, contrast administration, and peri-procedural patient education within a hospital setting.

The position requires an ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and EMR proficiency. Experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity environments is preferred. Day shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing or higher is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license is required.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing allergic reactions or complications promptly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care per hospital policies.
