Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology in Lakewood Ranch, FL to support radiologists during imaging and IR procedures, monitor IV contrast, and ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of radiology or ICU experience; EMR proficiency and strong safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring allergic reactions or complications are addressed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care per hospital and departmental policies.

Qualifications
