AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit on a weekend day shift in Shawnee Mission, KS. This part-time role offers comprehensive benefits from Day One and opportunities for salary growth through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, family education, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Job Description

Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit Weekend Work Days Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20%* through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines.

• Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes

Pay Range: $32.83 - $61.05
