Job summary

Nathan Adelson Hospice Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts (8:00pm–8:30am) at University Center Drive and Mountainview locations. The nurse will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, supervise LPNs and CNAs, and support the hospice mission.

Requirements include Nevada RN licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver with insured vehicle for home care/admissions/triage. Hospice/home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program; hospice/home health experience preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license and CPR certification.
• Driver with insured vehicle required for Home Care/Admissions/Triage; clean driving record.

The Registered Nurse provides outstanding patient care based upon the nursing process; assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision including LPNs and CNAs. Actively supports and promotes the hospice's philosophy and mission statement.

Per Diem:8:00pm - 8:30am (on call / as needed; looking for weekday and weekend availability) (out of our University Center Drive and Mountainview locations).

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of a school of Nursing.
• Hospice and/or home health experience preferred.

Required Licensure and Certification:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
• Current CPR certification.
• RNs working in Home Care, Admissions or Triage departments must also be a licensed driver and possess an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order. Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Hospice and Palliative Care Certification preferred.
