Job summary

Nathan Adelson Hospice is seeking a Triage Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN delivers care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation—while supporting patients and families in a hospice setting.

This Per Diem role covers weekend day shifts (8 hours) with on-call duties as needed. Requires graduation from a nursing program, an active Nevada RN license and CPR certification; driving and a clean record are required.

• Hospice and/or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessments and nursing diagnoses using the nursing process.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care in coordination with the hospice team.

Shift available:

• Per Diem: Weekend day shift help needed (flexible with scheduling: 8-hour shifts) (on call / as needed)

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of a school of Nursing.
• Hospice and/or home health experience preferred.

Required Licensure and Certification:

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver in the state of Nevada and possess an automobile that is insured in accordance with Nevada state and/or
  organizational requirements and is in good working order. Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Hospice and Palliative Care Certification preferred.
