Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 7B Advanced Heart Failure unit at CMC. This full-time night shift runs 7p–7a, with a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

The role focuses on long-term patient relationships and device follow-up care for implanted patients. You will join a tight-knit team dedicated to high-quality cardiac care, collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

For Nurses who enjoy long relationships with patients, this is a great position! Patients are implanted with the devices at Atrium Health and our nurses on 7B help to maintain those, receiving follow-up visits from those patients using our devices. We are looking for a teammate who shares this affinity for quality, on-going nurse to patient relationships. If that sounds like you and you enjoy cardiac, to be a part of a tight knit team who truly enjoys working on 7B!

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Required 6 months to a year minimum of cardiac experience. Prefer nurses familiar with drips. Nurse hired will be trained in devices no experience required for that.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
