Job summary

The TwelveStone Infusion Centers LLC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide infusion therapy at the Lithonia, GA center. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and ensure safe care from intake to discharge.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in Georgia and a current CPR/BLS certification. Infusion and EMR experience are preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Our primary focus is the safe and effective administration of biologic medications ("e.g., Remicade, Tysabri, etc."), but we also offer a full range of infusion services including, but not limited to, antibiotics, hydration, vitamins, iron, and steroids. On occasion there is a need for sterile dressing changes and lab draws.

The TwelveStone Infusion Centers LLC, manages the Infusion needs of patient’s and maintains the continuum of care, from intake, assessment, and treatment through the completion of their visit. Our primary focus is the safe and effective administration of biologic medications ("e.g., Remicade, Tysabri, etc."), but we also offer a full range of infusion services including, but not limited to, antibiotics, hydration, vitamins, iron, and steroids. On occasion there is a need for sterile dressing changes and lab draws.

We are currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our infusion center located in Lithonia, GA.

You will be the RN responsible for safely and efficiently delivering infusion therapy to our customers suffering from chronic diseases and acute medical illnesses. We welcome RNs from all medical backgrounds with a positive attitude, preferably possessing outstanding IV skills, and requiring a license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform analysis of patient data including status of lab work, patient assessments
• Report changes to referring physician
• Make recommendations for patient care
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Provide patient education; participates in clinic quality improvement process.
• Conduct individualized patient assessments, prioritizing the data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client facility’s policies, procedures or protocols.
• Administer medications, infusion therapy, and other appropriate treatments per prescriber orders, and under the supervision of the clinic mid-level provider
• Document, verify and ensure implementation of physician orders, accurate and timely clinical documentation. Documents patient assessment findings, physical/psychosocial responses to nursing intervention and progress towards problem resolution.
• Deliver care with appropriate age and cultural competence to specific patient populations according to individualized needs. Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff. Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Associate degree in Nursing and current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice. Must have a current, CPR certification (BLS minimum, including hands-on/in-person assessment). Minimum of one years’ experience providing nursing care preferred. Infusion experience preferred; Telephone, MS Office and computer/keyboard skills required. Previous EMR experience preferred.
