The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN or LPN license, is proficient with peripheral IV placement, and carries a current BLS certification.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Infusion Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our growing team. This role is responsible for administering biologic and specialty infusion therapies, monitoring patients throughout treatment, accurately documenting care, and creating a safe and positive experience for every patient. The ideal candidate has strong IV skills, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with providers, pharmacy staff, and internal care teams. We partner closely with patients, prescribing providers, pharmacy teams, and care coordinators to provide a seamless infusion experience from referral through treatment.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions, injections, and specialty therapies according to provider orders, established protocols, and company standards.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs before, during, and after treatment.
• Monitor patients for infusion reactions, side effects, or changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Review infusion orders, pre-treatment requirements, and applicable labs prior to therapy.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control and safety standards.
• Educate patients on therapies, potential side effects, treatment expectations, and home care instructions.
• Accurately document treatments, assessments, medication administration, and patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with providers, pharmacy staff, insurance coordinators, scheduling teams, and care partners to support patient flow and continuity of care.
• Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and proper handling of infusion equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, clinical check-ins, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain a welcoming, calm, and professional environment for patients receiving care.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency with peripheral IV placement required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior infusion, specialty medication, biologic therapy, ambulatory care, oncology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, or home infusion experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize and respond to adverse reactions.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Patient-focused mindset with a commitment to safety, professionalism, and high-quality care.
