Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an Infusion RN to support oncology infusion services in the Charleston area. The role involves managing a high-volume infusion schedule and coordinating care with radiation and oncology teams.

The incumbent will require BLS certification, familiarity with infusion protocols, and experience in infusion centers or radiation oncology settings. On-site work with hospitals, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and communication.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Experience with CBCT, kV, mV imaging and IMRT.
• Proficiency in External Beam Therapy and Radiation Safety.
• Infusion Center experience preferred.
• Oncology inpatient/outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies per protocol.
• Monitor patient responses and manage adverse events.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation safety practices during treatments.

Shift Details

• 5x8 hour days, 0800-1630
• Orientation occurs every other Thursday for RNs

Workload and Experience

• Daily caseload: 70 patients
• Patient ratio experience: 1:4
• Minimum required RN experience: 2 years
• First-time RNs accepted: Yes
