Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an Infusion RN in Beckley, WV to provide infusion care in a hospital-based setting. The role features 5x8 hour days (0800-1630) with orientation starting every other Thursday for RNs and a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Minimum 2 years RN experience required; candidates may have pending license. Flu vaccination is required unless exempt. Local candidates may not be accepted; travel distance guidelines apply. Documentation and submission materials are specified.

Shift Details

5x8hr Days 0800-1630

Start Date: Orientation occurs every other Thursday for RNs

Shift: 5x8 hour days

Daily Caseload: 70 patients

Patient Ratio Experience: 1:4

Certifications Required:

• BLS
• ONC preferred

• CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Treatment - External Beam Therapy
• IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy
• Prophylactic Treatments
• General Skills - Radiation Safety

Preferred Skills:

• Infusion Center Experience
• Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology Experience

Experience and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• First-time RNs accepted
• No on-call required
• No floating within scope to meet facility needs
• No floating to sister facilities
• Locals not accepted; candidate must live more than 100 miles from the facility (75-99 miles may be considered with facility approval)
• Pending state license accepted; candidates may submit with pending license
• No restrictions on requested time off
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Submission Requirements

• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 3 years after their last permanent date
• Must have a clean license; no prior suspensions allowed; probations reviewed case by case
• Flu vaccination is mandatory unless medically exempt with documentation from an allergist or physician
