Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS/TNCC/ATCN certs or ability to obtain within specified timeframes.
• NIH Stroke Scale cert or ability to obtain by orientation end; 8 hours Stroke related CNE annually.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire for eligible units; PALS/NRP as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Educates patients and families; plans discharge and follow-up care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Participates in regulatory readiness and performance improvement activities.
