Qualifications

• Education: ADN or nursing program graduate.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider; TNCC (or obtain within 1 year) and 8 hours of Traima-related CNE if assigned to ICU/Trauma units; NIH Stroke Scale certification (or obtain by orientation end) and 8 hours of Stroke CNE if assigned to Critical Care/ED; ACLS (or obtain within 6 months) for specified areas; NRP (or obtain within 6 months) for maternity/ED; PALS (or obtain within 6 months) for pediatric areas; ENPC accepted in lieu of PALs for Adult ED

Responsabilités

• Delivers quality care to patients through nursing processes (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assists patient/family in identifying comfort measures and discharge planning.
• Ensures handoff communication and collaborates with health care team to maximize patient safety and outcomes.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and Joint Commission readiness.

Formation

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or graduate from an accredited school of nursing
