Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing and a Texas license to practice nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, high-quality nursing care per nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver nursing care.
• Directs and may delegate tasks to the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Develops and implements discharge or transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement to enhance patient care.
• Ensures compliance with policies, budgets, and quality standards; maintains professional growth.
