Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; RN license with multi-state or state privileges.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Promotes safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately within the team.
• Completes required education and maintains licenses and certifications.
• Float to other units if needed to meet patient needs.
