Advocate Health in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a registered nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within a dynamic hospital setting. You will apply evidence-based practices, engage patients and families, and participate in unit governance and quality initiatives.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including float opportunities, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided; multi-state compact accepted.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork.
• Proficiency with computer functions and electronic records in clinical settings.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care through evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families across the continuum.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area to meet patient needs.
• Delivers age-appropriate care and delegates tasks to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs as needed.
