Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse who will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care. The role requires accountability for the care of assigned patients and evaluation of care effectiveness among direct care givers.

You will coordinate patient care with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties consistent with Mercy's mission and standards. BLS is required, with additional unit-specific certifications possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license required in hiring state or compact licensure; maintain licensure per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; other certifications may be required by unit (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM).
