Qualifications

• RN licensure required in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Education: Nursing program graduate (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Certifications may be required based on unit: ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, C-PHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE modules, C-EFM.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
