Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited school.
• Active Vermont RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS preferred.
• Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge.
• De-escalation training within first course offering after hire.
• Procedural Sedation skills within three months of hire.
• Aseptic technique within three months of hire.
• Six months nursing experience desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing care knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in technology in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and delegate work as needed.
• Ensure practice complies with state/federal laws, regulations, and policies.
