Springfield Hospital, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a full-time registered nurse to provide patient care per the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice within the Department of Nursing and in collaboration with specialty care standards.

This role uses the Nursing Process to make clinical judgments and document care, including appropriate delegation, while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state license.
• Six months nursing experience desirable for specialty areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency with technology in care delivery.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• TNCC (preferred).
• Basic dysrhythmia.
• De-escalation training (required within first course offering).
• ESI course within one year of hire.
• CEN (preferred).
• ENPC (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients per the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make clinical judgments and document care, including delegation.
• Ensure practice meets state and federal laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
