Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for day shift in El Paso. This role provides direct clinical patient care, assesses and plans care, and supervises staff to deliver safe, high‑quality nursing services.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating care, and responding to emergencies per hospital policy. Requires active nursing license and CPR/AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by unit policy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• CPR required; AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Assess, plan, implement nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise staff and ensure safe, evidence‑based care.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Coordinate patient care within prescribed medical regimen.
• Know and respond to hospital emergency codes and policies.
