Job summary

CentraCare Health is seeking an Imaging Registered Nurse to support cardiac stress testing and interventional radiology procedures at our Willmar, MN location. The role includes coordinating and scheduling patients, delivering pre-procedure education, and ensuring patient readiness and safety.

You will independently perform cardiac stress tests, administer medications as ordered, and provide conscious sedation under physician direction while monitoring patients and documenting thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Advanced EKG rhythm interpretation.
• Conscious sedation training and certification.
• Two–four years of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule patients for imaging procedures.
• Provide pre-procedure education and instructions.
• Assess patient readiness and safety; gather clinical information.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and imaging departments.

Job description

The Imaging RN provides specialized nursing support for cardiac stress testing and interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling patients, providing pre-procedure education and instructions, assessing patient readiness and safety, gathering necessary clinical information, and collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and imaging departments. The role involves independently performing and monitoring cardiac stress tests, administering medications as ordered, providing conscious sedation under physician direction, monitoring patients during procedures, completing thorough documentation, and conducting post-procedure follow-up to ensure quality patient care and positive outcomes. The Imaging RN serves as a key liaison between patients and the multidisciplinary care team, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging services.

Schedule

• Part time | 32 hours every two weeks
• Day shift | Monday - Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm | possibility of covering late procedures if needed
• No holidays, weekends or on call

Pay

• Starting pay based on degree (increases with experience):
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $43.24 per hour
  • Bachelors in nursing starting at $43.61 per hour
  • Full pay range: $43.24 - $63.30 per hour
• $3,500 hiring bonus | $5,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)???

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
