Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care under minimal supervision. The RN will match patient needs with competencies and complete required orientation competencies within the introductory period.

Minimum education is graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Texas RN license; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Two years in acute care is desirable, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Texas State License for Registered Nurse required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (Labor & Delivery).
• AHA NRP within 60 days; GNOSIS Fetal Heart Monitoring introduction within 30 days or AWHONN Heart Monitoring within 8 months.
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring or ST.A.B.L.E. Level 2 Nursery; PALS within 60 days.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• - Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• - AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY) *Should be completed before the end of the orientation period
• - AHA NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY or any nurse floated into L&D) *Should be completed before the end of the orientation period
• - Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs are required to complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring with 30 days from hire date or transfer date into unit and AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring with 8 months of L&D Orientation. Experienced L&D RNs (>1 yr experience) must have AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring on hire or within the first 90 days of hire,
• - S.T.A.B.L.E. - Level 2 Nursery-Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit (Renewal is not required).
• - AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (PEDIATRICS)
