Houston Methodist is hiring for the RN II position, a licensed staff nurse providing care to a diverse patient population. The RN II conducts assessments, assists with exams and treatments, educates patients, and maintains medical records while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

The role includes leadership responsibilities such as charge nurse or preceptor to students, with opportunities across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• RN - Registered Nurse Texas licensure and BLS certification required

Responsabilités

• Conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, and maintain medical records
• Develop, update and communicate plan of care in partnership with patient and team
• Provide patient teaching based on learning needs and evaluate understanding
• Support service standards and contribute to patient satisfaction on unit-based metrics
