Position Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Harris Regional Hospital's policies and procedures. The nurse must adhere to standards set by the state board of nursing, the state nurse practice act, and other regulatory agencies. Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education is essential. The nurse delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of team members.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter.
• AHA PALS certification preferred but not required.
