A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse - ICU for full-time night shifts at St Bernard Parish Hospital. This role involves leading patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, directing licensed and ancillary team members, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. The role requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and active participation in achieving departmental and organizational goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the company's nursing philosophy.
Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required: None.
Required: Current RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
