This role leads patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating, directing, and assisting team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, respecting diversity, and supporting departmental goals. The nurse demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the nursing philosophy.
