Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality critical care, patient advocacy, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Qualified candidates will have ICU experience, an active Virginia RN license, and ACLS/BLS within required timelines. New grads are not eligible at this time.

Qualifications

• RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN.
• RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire; All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• SORRY - NO NEW GRAD RNs at this time.

Responsibilities

• Assess/admit patients and conduct rounds checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status.
• Communicate with families and coordinate care with the team.
• Maintain high standards of nursing care and patient safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous RN Intensive Care (Critical Care) experience STRONGLY preferred

Previous RN bedside acute care hospital experience REQUIRED

SORRY - NO NEW GRAD RNs at this time.

Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire; All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.

EDUCATION:

CERTIFICATIONS and or LICENSURE:

The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
