Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Infusion Center. The role supports patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, with 2 days per week of 9-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM), weekend rotation every 6–7 weeks, and holiday rotation (1 day).

Requires RN licensure in Virginia, recent direct patient care experience, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Opportunities exist for growth and teamwork in a mission-driven health system.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical area: all Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
EDUCATION:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
