Position: Registered Nurse

36 Hours, Night Shift, Every 3rd Weekend

Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our 38-bed (28+10) multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Location: ICU, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center

Schedule: 36 Hours, Night Shift, Every 3rd Weekend

Unit Details: Our 38-bed multi-specialty ICU includes 28 MICU/SICU/CCU/neuro ICU beds and 10 CTICU beds. Nurses are trained to care for a variety of medical, surgical, neurology, cardiology, and cardiothoracic patients, gaining broad skills across specialties.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to team members
• Maintain and update patient records
• Interpret computerized data/information accurately
• Follow established policies and guidelines
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in med/surg setting
• ICU experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• Effective communication skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Basic computer skills
• Fluency in another language is a plus
