Job summary

Ascension Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a PRN Night Shift RN to provide direct nursing care in the ICU, following established policies and protocols.

You will implement and monitor patient care plans, document patient conditions, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to support safe discharge planning. Active RN license in Texas required; ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas required before hire.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Diploma in nursing from an accredited program or equivalent professional licensure.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
