Monroe Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Services, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts in Bloomington, Indiana. The role involves delivering safe ICU patient care, coordinating with physicians, and guiding patient/family education while ensuring confidentiality and high standards. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ICU/critical care experience. BSN preferred; CCRN preferred for advanced roles.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
• BSN or higher preferred.

Responsabilidades

• The RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) in the ICU. They direct patient/family teaching and guide other nursing staff while maintaining standards of care and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. 4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
