Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality care in the ICU. This per diem role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

You will work with a dedicated medical staff across cardiology, orthopedics, radiology and more, maintaining patient privacy and collaborating with physicians to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• CCR N Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
