CHRISTUS Health in Shreveport, LA, seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and nursing leadership on a defined unit. You will assess patients, plan care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, updating care plans, and documenting care while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. A BSN is preferred, with RN licensure in Louisiana or a compact state and BLS certification.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Six months to one year of RN experience or an active GN permit.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact; Graduate Nurse Permit.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient assessment, care planning, and delivery of nursing care.
• Directs and supervises LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, unit secretaries and other staff.
• Develops, updates, and communicates the nursing care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs and documents patient care procedures safely and accurately.
• Evaluates patient responses and progress toward goals with the team weekly.
• Assists in orientation and serves as a preceptor for new staff and students.
