CHRISTUS Health in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under physician supervision. This role requires an RN license, BLS, and 1–3 years of nursing experience.

You will assess patients, document histories, coordinate a multidisciplinary plan of care, and support education for patients and families. The position follows a standard 8 AM–5 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, and offers full-time employment within a busy healthcare setting.

Formación

• Must hold RN license in state of employment or a valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1–3 years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process and coordinate plans with physicians and care teams.
• Complete initial patient history, physical examination, and chart documentation within 24 hours of admission or intake.
• Perform wound care assessments and implement treatment plans per policy.
• Monitor patient responses, adjust care plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately.
