• Stroke training courses to be completed soon or within one year of hire.
• Labor/delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per provider orders following nursing standards and regulations.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer medications/treatments and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and preventative care.
• Assist with teaching staff and orient new team members.

The position must support the mission, goals, policies and standards of the nursing department to ensure excellence in nursing practice.
