UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Hospital-Based Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered nursing care across age groups. The RN will use the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality care and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, care planning, patient and family education, and discharge planning.

Formación

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required for certain areas.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments from admission to discharge across the care continuum.
• Administer medications and monitor effects, documenting per policy.
• Plan age-specific care with the care team and educate patients and families.
• Identify problems and prioritize care with patient and family goals.
• Implement nursing interventions to meet care goals and ensure safety.
• Evaluate patient teaching and adjust plans based on responses.
• Collaborate with the care team to promote safe, high-quality care.
• Advise on discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise students and orient new team members as needed.
