Hospital at Home nurses will experience a team approach to serving patients as well as the flexibility and autonomy to do their jobs and provide patients with individualized care. We provide one on one patient centered care and education as well as critical thinking and clinical skills including but not limited to infusions, line care, catheter care, wound care, VAC management, chronic disease process management and education. The skill set and case management experience that this position offers provide endless self-satisfaction and reward to home care nurses.

Seeking a RN with previous acute inpatient experience of at least 2 years to provide in-home visits to patients in the South Region.

Territory consists of a 30-mile radius around IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Shift would be four 10-hour shifts each week and every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
