Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to interdisciplinary team with Director of Nursing support.
• Interview, orient, and assign staff to meet patient needs.

• Participate in management decisions and organizational goals.
• Manage and review budget for errors and cost containment for the assigned team.

ThePatient Care Coordinatorparticipates in all clinical management functions. Coordinates the activities of the interdisciplinary team in the various patient care settings. Responsible for clinical direction of all members of the interdisciplinary team with assistance of discipline specific team leaders. Assures compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed as an RNin State of Florida.
• Associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience inhome health,or medical-surgical nursing required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel.
• Personal professional development, accountability, organization and leadership in the performance of professional nursing practice.
• Valid driving license and good driving record are required for this position.
