At-Heart HomeCare & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our Virginia Beach team. You will provide expert, patient-centered care at a critical time in patients’ lives and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

This PRN, part-time position offers flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment. A valid RN license and CPR certification are required.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active licensure in the operating state.
• One year of nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy of care.
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Maintain CPR certification where required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, monitor, and respond to physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients.
• Develop and update individualized hospice care plans aligned with patient goals.
• Provide direct nursing care: medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Manage pain and symptoms for patients.
• Educate and support patients’ families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; document accurately and timely.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.

As a Hospice Registered Nurse You will:

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.
