Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary care team in Maryland. The role centers on delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care to hospice patients, coordinating with families, physicians, and other professionals to uphold comfort and dignity at life’s most delicate moments.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with 8-hour shifts in the Bowie, College Park, Beltsville, Rockville, and Bethesda areas.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary group to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments-physical, emotional, social, and spiritual-to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in oncall or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.
