Maxim Healthcare in Eustis is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, report to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness.
• Review the plan of care and protocols, identify areas for healthcare education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of prior RN experience preferred.
